The Story Behind Catalyse Life Drinks
The question I get asked most often is why did I start Catalyse? What's the story & reason behind starting a drinks brand in a relatively crowded market? Well, here's why I took the plunge...
The idea came about in lock down, like most people I had time to dwell on where I was in life, did I enjoy what I was doing & most importantly what was my purpose?
During this time I was increasingly aware & concerned about the impact we were having on our Planet. With constant reports on water pollution & climate change I had a helpless feeling that I wasn't doing my part & wanted to do something that made a tangible difference. But as one person, what could I possibly do?
This also coincided with the decision, nearly 6 years ago, to stop drinking alcohol. In this time realised there was a gap in the market. Why were all alcohol alternatives overly sweet, expensive AF spirit mocktails, or lacking in any nutritional value. If I was spending money on a drink, I wanted something that didn't emulate alcohol, but something that did good for me. And not a drink that had big health claims and low amounts of active ingredients. Because if you're taking something out of a drink, why not add something good in?
I put two & two together & saw an opportunity to use my experience in the drinks industry to create something that did good for me, people like me, and for the Planet. Why not create a range drinks, inspired by Global waterscapes, that have unique blends of high end, active ingredients to help with our everyday health goals & support Surfers Against Sewage - a fantastic organisation helping future proof our planet.
However, unlike the traditional summer berry & tropical fruit basic vitamin drinks, I wanted to use natural flavours, botanicals & some newer adaptogens & nootropics to help with our specific needs - Relaxation, Energy, Immunity & Beauty. A range that help replace everyday products such as caffeine, medicine & alcohol whilst delivering a more adult & sophisticated taste profiles.
And so begun Catalyse Life Drinks! Transforming your wellness journey into a delectable adventure!
