Vitamin & Functional Water - Helpful or All Hype?
You may be browsing this site & be thinking - is it actually worth it? Isn't my standard fruity water good enough? I already take vitamins, why should I bother? If so, you've come to the right place, as that's exactly what we'll be discussing today!
Who can blame you, back in the day people were wondering why trust a car when their faithful four legged steed was reliable enough. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with getting from A to B by a horse, but times move on, innovation & new ingredients, ones found in nature, not a plastic pill bottle, can all help take us from where we are, to where we want to be & more naturally. In this instance, from tired to energised, from stressed to relaxed etc etc
Never before has efficiency & convenience been more important. We're busy, money is tight & we want the most from the products we buy. The downside is that often convenience means skimping on quality, as we'll find with any lasagne ready meal vs the home cooked version. We're not perhaps as healthy, or getting as much nutrients as we'd like. Or if you're anything like I was before i started my own health pilgrimage, we don't know what vitamins & nutrients are good for what. Will Zinc help me feel more energised? Will Reishi Mushroom give me a hallucination or send me to sleep? Life is confusing enough without trying to decipher everything we see on our social media feeds & shop shelves.
The whole ethos behind Catalyse was to find ways of combining an array of well known vitamins & minerals with some more cutting edge, plant based nootropics & adaptogens - all of which their benefits can be found on the ingredients page. We've tried to take the confusion & analysing out of the equation by combining specific ingredients to create an 'entourage effect', where when combined they do more good than a standard supplement or sole vitamin drink alone would.
That's all good & well, and sales pitch over, but leads to the question, is it worth it? Well obviously i'm biased, but simply yes, and here are some reasons why...
1. Liquid vitamins in water are often absorbed more quickly than pills, allowing nutrients to enter the bloodstream faster and potentially improving effectiveness
2. Vitamin water can be gentler on the stomach, especially for those who experience discomfort or difficulty digesting pills
3. Drinking vitamin water contributes to hydration, which is essential for energy levels, skin health, and the overall effectiveness of vitamins in the body
4. Vitamin water is generally more enjoyable & tastier than a pill, making it easier to incorporate into daily routines, especially if you're already partial to a flavoured sparkling water
Everything we drink or eat is of course our decision, but if you're looking to step up your normal flavoured sparkling water game, or looking for more natural ways to unwind, energise, fortify or glow from within, then why not give Catalyse a try - we're guaranteed to have a blend for you!
Until next time..
